Harrahs Total Rewards: Diamond Tier

Harrahs Hotels’ Total Rewards program has a tier called Diamond that is their second highest level VIP status level. To receive Diamond, you have to hit 10,000 Tier Credits in one calendar year. Tier Credits are earned at a rate of 1 credit per $5 wagered on slots, $10 wagered on VP, and varies with table games.

Another option is also available called Diamond in a Day (or DIAD). If you can wager 3,000 Tier Credits in one day, you will receive Diamond instantly. According to Harrahs Hotel hosts, Diamond in a Day can only be made once in a customer’s lifetime. You can not renew a current Diamond card using Diamond in a Day. Some hosts have said that you will be able to do Diamond in a Day more than once, but not until a full calendar year has passed (meaning if you earned Diamond in a Day in 2007, you can’t do it again until 2009). Neither of these situations has been confirmed by Harrahs Hotels or gaming players.

• Access to the Diamond lounge, which varies in having drinks, snacks, entrees and a place to sit. Some Diamond lounges also have free Internet access and a printer.

• VIP Cab Service at some Harrahs Hotels
• Free Upgrade to the Venetian Gold tier Player’s Card
