Great Gift Wrap-up FAQ

Harrah’s Entertainment offers a yearly program called the Great Gift Wrap-up. This is usually held in November and December each year. This program is only based on Las Vegas visits. Harrah’s 2007 Great Gift Wrap-up site can be accessed here, which lets you look up your total points using your Total Rewards card number. They also have a nice glimpse of the catalog of items available, which expands with new items all the time.

The Great Gift Wrap-up is a program that gives players additional rewards dollars to spend from a catalog that Harrah’s provides. Every Reward Credit and Bonus Reward Credit you earn in that year (up until about the middle of December) is totaled up, and that is your Great Gift Wrap-up reward amount. If you earned 5,000 RCs and 15,000 Bonus RCs in one year, you will receive 20,000 Great Gift Wrap-up points to redeem that year. Only RCs and Bonus RCs earned in Las Vegas are eligible. Bonus RCs earned from the Harrah’s Visa card are not included.

To redeem points, you will receive and must accept an offer to visit Harrah’s in order to make your purchase with your Great Gift Wrap-up points. You will select the items you want, and they will arrive in the mail usually 6-8 weeks later.

If your spouse or domestic partner has Great Gift Wrap-up points, they may be combined with yours and you can use the new total for your purchases. Your spouse or domestic partner must be present with you to combine your points together.

Please note that the general consensus is that the Great Gift Wrap-up event SHOULD trigger a trip. We don’t know the exact details, but if you do go through your GGWU on a day you don’t play, please check to see if your ADT dropped the next day.
